Educational Research

Bonn

The goal of this module is to deepen the foundations of educational research acquired in Modules 0, IV, and V and to prepare participants to conduct a study on educational research as part of their master’s thesis. Participants will learn to identify a research need, formulate a research question and corresponding hypothesis, operationalize the hypothesis, and choose an appropriate study design to answer the question. By the end of the module, participants will be familiar with essential qualitative and quantitative analysis methods and will be able to critically discuss the results of educational research studies.
